Philippine-based electric vehicle logistics pioneer Mober has expanded its operations to Thailand, marking a key step in its regional growth strategy for sustainable delivery solutions.
Mober deployed 21 electric trucks in Bangkok’s Bang Na district, primarily serving IKEA Thailand’s last-mile delivery needs. Supporting this fleet is a new 1,600-square-meter charging hub equipped with four 22-kW chargers and two 60-kW fast chargers, designed to handle up to 200 delivery drops daily.
“Bringing our green logistics model to Thailand reflects the growing demand for sustainable urban transport in the region,” said Jade Hugo, Mober Co-founder and Head of New Business.
This expansion follows Mober’s 2023 launch of its flagship 800-square-meter EV charging hub in Pasay City near IKEA Pasay. The facility, featuring OCPP 7kW chargers compatible with multiple standards, was a significant investment supporting the company’s fleet in the Philippines.
Earlier in 2025, Mober introduced the Philippines’ first fully electric tractor head truck and opened the country’s largest commercial EV charging hub, a 3,000-square-meter site with 56 charging ports.
CEO Dennis Ng noted that the Thailand expansion aligns with Mober’s goal to build sustainable delivery infrastructure across Southeast Asia. The company plans to raise funds to scale its fleet in both markets, targeting significant growth by early 2026.
Mober was recently recognized by Forbes Asia in its 2025 “100 to Watch” list, acknowledging the company’s progress in advancing green logistics in the Asia-Pacific region.
