In a city where food is both ritual and recreation, a distinctly Filipino indulgence has found a new audience. Avocadoria, the homegrown concept that helped turn avocado into a dessert star, has officially opened its first store in Bangkok, marking another step in its growing international journey.

Located on the sixth floor of Central Rama 9 Mall, the new branch welcomed customers on March 23, introducing Thailand to a menu built entirely around one central idea: avocado as a source of everyday joy. Following expansions into Singapore and the UAE, the move into Thailand feels intentional. Known globally as the Land of Smiles, the country’s vibrant, food-forward culture offers a fitting backdrop for a brand that has long equated its signature fruit with happiness.

The story behind Avocadoria began in 2019 in Pasig City, where Czarina Jagto-Sevilla first crafted avocado-based desserts from her home kitchen. What started with an Avocado Ice Cream Cheesecake quickly evolved into a phenomenon, eventually expanding to more than 260 locations across multiple countries. At its core, the brand’s appeal lies in its ability to transform a familiar ingredient into something both comforting and unexpectedly indulgent.

“This milestone is not just about expansion. It’s about sharing our story, our culture, and creating moments of joy one dessert at a time,” Sevilla shared, framing the Bangkok opening as both a business move and a cultural exchange.

The Thailand store operates in partnership with J&G Green Delights, whose leadership sees the collaboration as a natural fit. Bangkok’s dining scene is known for its discernment and diversity, where global flavors thrive alongside local staples. For Avocadoria, entering such a market signals confidence in the universal appeal of its offerings.

At the heart of the menu is the brand’s well-loved Lovers series. The Avocado Lover leads with layers of soft serve, cream, biscuits, and tapioca pearls, finished with fresh avocado and a mix of textures. It is joined by variations like the Avocado Pistachio Knafeh Lover and the Avocado Biscoff Lover, each balancing richness with the fruit’s natural creaminess. For those seeking something lighter, the Naked Avocado Light Ice Cream offers a more pared-down take.

Beyond desserts, the lineup extends to six avocado shake variants, blending the fruit with flavors such as mango, soursop, coconut, and dark chocolate. The result is a menu that feels both playful and rooted in a broader shift toward more ingredient-forward treats.
