On October 20, 2023, SM Megamall unveiled its grand 'Mega and Bright Christmas' celebration, setting the stage for a holiday season that promises to be nothing short of extraordinary. The centerpiece? A towering tree adorned with ornaments meticulously designed to capture the essence of the city that never sleeps. Miniature replicas of famed landmarks, a constellation of twinkling lights, and an ode to the natural beauty of Central Park—every detail weaves a tapestry of New York's unmistakable charm.

Assistant Vice President for Operations, Christian Mathay, shares, "As we turn on the lights, unveil our stunning holiday displays, and fill the air with the scent of holiday magic, we hope to create a season filled with experiences that will warm your hearts and create memories to last a lifetime."

**The Spectacle Unfolds**

Come evening, the magic truly comes alive. Thousands of LED lights burst into synchronized choreography, paying tribute to the neon extravaganza of Times Square. Imagine standing in the heart of this glittering spectacle, surrounded by the infectious joy of the season.

But that's not all. Giant inflatable PVC balls, along with a constellation of spherical lamps and LED fireworks, promise to leave guests of all ages wide-eyed with wonder. It's a sensory feast, a visual symphony—truly a feast for the senses.

And let's not forget the enchanting ballet performance that graced the event's opening, adding an extra touch of elegance and magic to the celebration.

**Beyond the Tree**

While the tree is undoubtedly the star, the festivities at SM Megamall don't end there. From November to December, the Christmas Market beckons with an array of delightful treats and treasures. The Coach Holiday Pop-Up, running from November 7 to January 7, promises the perfect opportunity to find that special something for a loved one. And let's not forget the jolly man himself—Santa Claus will be spreading cheer on select dates throughout November and December.

In collaboration with the legendary 'Mr. Christmas' Jose Mari Chan, SM Supermalls has unveiled a heartwarming holiday tune, "Celebrate Christmas at SM". Mr. Chan, the maestro of merriment, graced the tree-lighting ceremonies at both SM Megamall and SM North EDSA, serenading guests and shoppers with this catchy melody that promises to become the soundtrack of your holiday season.
