Pinoy farmer Asia's newest trail masterĀ

A 31-year-old veteran tail runner and farmer won the coveted title of Asian Trail Master after he won the tough 75-kilometer race  Mt. Apo Sky race in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur on December 17.

Arnie Macarenas, a resident of Digos City, Davao del Sur, beat 100 other veteran trial runners, including 50 foreigners, to win the race in nine hours.

The second place went to Milton Amat of Malaysia, who trained the Filipino by 20 minutes.

Hau Ha of Vietnam emerged as women's champion on the distaff side.

Filipina runner, Julie Ann Morales of Tagum City, Davao del Norte, finished in fifth place in the race.
