Hidilyn Diaz is officially a world champion.

Diaz snatched three medals in the women's 55kg division after lifting 207kg in the International Weightlifting Federation World Championships in Bogota, Colombia, on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time).

The Tokyo Olympic gold medalist completed a hat-trick of victories, securing snatch, clean and jerk, and total category.

Diaz first lifted 93 kilograms in the snatch, before tallying 114 kilograms in the clean and jerk.

The 31-year old tried to set a record for this year by lifting 117 and 121 kgs in clean and jerk but failed to do so.

Still, Diaz now has a world title in her resume just a year after she made history by becoming the first-ever Filipina gold medalist in the Olympics.

Her performance in Bogota solidified her bid to qualify for the 2024 Olympics in France.
