Confessed gunman Joel Escorial has revealed more names that are believed to be involved in the killing of broadcast journalist Percy Lapid.

The names were already included in the supplemental affidavit filed against those responsible, according to Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft, director of the Southern Police District and commander of the Special Investigation Task Group Percy Lapid.

"He mentioned names in his new revelations, and these people are now the subject of our investigation," said Kraft.

Escorial earlier tagged Crisanto Villamor as the mastermind in the killing of Mabasa. He also disclosed the names of brothers Israel and Edmon Dimaculangan and a certain Orlando.

"We already filed a case against them (Dimaculangan brothers and Orly). We are just waiting for the issuance of the arrest warrant. We have leads as to their possible hideouts," said Kraft, referring to the Dimaculangan brothers.

Villamor died inside the New Bilbid Prisons (NBP) a day after Escorial surrendered, But before his death, he was able to tell his sister that three gang leaders inside the NBP tapped him to do a hit job on Mabasa.

The PNP has already coordinated with the NBP to secure the three inmates.
