Three persons were wounded after an unidentified armed suspect reportedly shot them in Purok Yellow Bell, Barangay Tres De Mayo, Digos City, Davao del Sur evening of October 22.

The Digos City Police Station identified the victims as a couple, Rene and Angel Blanco, and the brother of Angel, James Loriza. 

In the initial police investigation, the victims were preparing dinner when the suspect wearing a black jacket, arrived and shot them repeatedly.

The victims were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital as the suspect escaped in an unknown direction.

Police are eyeing land conflict and personal grudges as possible motives for the shooting.

A deeper investigation into the incident is now underway.
