Singlife Philippines proudly secured the Bronze award for Excellence in Mobile Marketing at the prestigious Marketing Excellence Awards 2024, hosted by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. As a mobile-first life insurance company, Singlife Philippines, alongside its performance marketing partner ADA Asia, earned recognition for their campaign, “Against All Odds: Soaring to Success with the Singlife Plan & Protect App.” 

This campaign was recognized for its most effective and innovative use of mobile marketing to achieve specific outcomes, including branding, influencing consumer behavior, and increasing consumption.

The company’s mobile-first approach has been reshaping how Filipinos access life insurance, making it more convenient and accessible. Launched in February 2023, the Singlife Plan & Protect App allows users to easily manage their finances, providing comprehensive life insurance, savings plans, and wealth management tools—all from their mobile phones. Singlife’s innovative approach is revolutionizing the way Filipinos build and protect their financial future.

Following this achievement, Singlife recently introduced the Super Boost Rewards Program, a groundbreaking offering that allows customers with active financial protection plans in the app to earn up to 15% per annum* net interest on their Singlife Account. This program helps to combat the common perception in the Philippines that insurance premiums are an expense without immediate returns, with the country’s insurance penetration rate remaining below 2%. Singlife aims to change this mindset by ensuring customers' investments in insurance actively grow, rather than sitting idle.

CEO Lester Cruz highlighted this shift, stating, “It should not require a fortuitous event, loss, or injury for insurance owners to start benefiting from their policies. Insurance should not just protect from financial loss; it should also be a compelling way for people to better themselves financially while living responsibly.”
Here’s how the Super Boost works:

Boost: All customers receive up to 5% p.a. net interest rate on their balances of up to PHP 500,000, while amounts exceeding PHP 500,000 earn a 2% p.a. net interest rate.

2x Boost: Customers with products like Protect from Emergency or Protect Your Goals can double their interest earnings up to 10% p.a.* by maintaining their coverage.

Super Boost: By building and maintaining additional insurance and investment solutions, customers can triple their interest earnings to up to 15% p.a.*

The interest is calculated daily and credited monthly, with a cap of P1,000 over the base Boost interest. In addition to the Super Boost, new users of the Singlife Plan & Protect App can enjoy FREE P300 insurance credits starting September 1, 2024, as a welcome gift.
