TP in the Philippines (formerly Teleperformance) has officially opened TP Davao Uprise, its second site in Davao City and 26th nationwide, marking its fourth operational site across Mindanao. The facility, located at The Uprise at Felcris Centrale Mall, is a PEZA-accredited development designed to support scalable operations serving both global and domestic markets.
The new site features operations floors, a recruitment hub, and employee amenities including a gym, karaoke room, and a basketball half court. According to the company, the expansion reflects its long-term strategy to strengthen regional growth and job creation outside Metro Manila.
“The launch of TP Davao Uprise reflects our confidence in Davao City as a strategic growth hub and in Mindanao as a critical pillar of the country’s IT-BPM industry,” said Rahul Jolly, CEO of TP in the Philippines. He cited the city’s scale-ready infrastructure, talent pool, and public-private collaboration as key factors supporting the company’s expansion.
Officials and representatives from the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), Davao Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ICT Davao, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in Davao, and the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) attended the opening.
MinDA Chair Leo Magno said the IT-BPM sector remains one of the country’s fastest-growing industries. “Investments such as TP's expansion in the Davao Region translate the national vision into concrete outcomes—generating quality, future-ready jobs for Mindanaoans,” he said, adding that TP’s continued growth sends a signal to other investors that Mindanao is “open, capable and ready for business.”
Davao City currently hosts more than 100,000 IT-BPM professionals, making it the largest talent hub in Mindanao. The workforce is noted for English proficiency and low attrition, with domain strengths in travel and hospitality services.
“People are at the center of our growth strategy,” said Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer of TP in the Philippines. “TP Davao Uprise expands our ability to provide meaningful employment, career mobility, and skills development.”
The site’s central location, proximity to Francisco Bangoy International Airport, and access to major transport infrastructure are expected to support workforce mobility and business continuity.
