President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. led the oath-taking of his reappointed Cabinet members on Tuesday, October 4, in Malacañang.
Newly appointed Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, 72, a native of Bangued, Abra, led the list of Cabinet officials.
Bersamin replaced Atty. Victor Rodriguez, who stepped down from the post over a week ago.
Marcos also administered the oath of Raphael Perpetuo Mercado Lotilla as Secretary of the Department of Energy; Benjamin Estoista Diokno for the Department of Finance; Jose Rizalino Larion Acuzar for the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development; Maria Susana Vasquez Ople for Department of Migrant Workers; and Arsenio Molina Balisacan for the National Economic Development Authority.
Marcos also led the oath-taking of Manuel Manligas Bonoan as Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways; Renato Umali Solidum Jr. as Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology; Erwin Teshiba Tulfo as Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development; Alfredo Espinosa Pascual as Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry; and Jaime Jimenez Bautista as Secretary of the Department of Transportation.
