Seoul Samsung has decided not to move forward from William Navarro.

Instead, the Thunder have signed Filipino-Canadian Christian David as their Asian Quota player.

David is a product of Butler University.

The 6-foot-6 big man averaged 1.70 points and 1.41 rebounds in his five-year stay.

This means that Navarro won't officially suit up for Samsung.

Navarro was not able to secure clearance from the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), as he still has a live contract as a Gilas player.

The Thunders will open their season against Changwon LG on October 16.
