DITO Telecommunity said it passed another state-mandated technical audit that looked into the company’s progress in fulfilling its commitments.

The National Telecommunications Commission has just furnished DITO with a notice that it passed the independent auditor’s Conduct of Specified Procedures – Year 3 Committed Level of Service (CLoS), according to a statement.

DITO hired R.G. Manabat & Co. to audit the Third Year Commitment Period.

DITO expressed satisfaction with the recent advice from the NTC that it has passed the third technical audit as required in its certificate of public convenience and necessity.

“We continue to abide by - and even exceed - our commitments to government to improve speed and coverage in the telco sector and bring real competition for the benefit of Filipino consumers,” the company said.

“Related to this, we are grateful for the warm support of our more than 12M subscribers as we stand behind our own commitment to bring world-class connectivity to the Philippines,” it added.

Duterte-allied tycoon Dennis Uy owns DITO.

The company bagged the third telco slot following bidding to break the duopoly of PLDT and Globe.
