A fire hit a famous restaurant in Quezon City on Wednesday, August 31.
 

The blaze started at the function room on the second floor of Annabel's Restaurant along Tomas Morato Avenue in Barangay Sacred Heart, reported the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The first alarm was raised at 8:17 am, wherein 15 fire trucks and an ambulance responded to help put out the fire and save possible victims.

Firefighters declared the fire under control at 9:08 am, and eventually fired out at 9:57 am.

No one was killed or hurt in the fire, the BFP noted.

It added the blaze destroyed property worth P4 million.

The restaurant wrote on its Facebook page its gratitude to its clients and customers for their "concern and prayers," and vowed it would "rebuild to serve you better."

Before the fire, Annabel's endured to be a fine dining spot in the Tomas Morato area, and is being used as a venue for press briefings in Quezon City.
 

Famous for its dishes like steak, paella, baked oysters, and buffet-style dining, it has been rated 3.9 on the restaurant website Zomato and received four out of five overall ratings from the review website TripAdvisor.
