Prince Caperal gets P10K fine for back-to-back F1 calls

Prince Caperal was fined twice within a three-day span.

The Barangay Ginebra big man was slapped with a flagrant foul one in the first half of the do-or-die Game 3 of the PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals series against Meralco.

Caperal was called for an unsportsmanlike foul against Bolts' Alvin Pasaol at the 4:38 mark of the first period.

The Arellano center only played for a minute, but a flagrant foul meant he sat out for at least three minutes.

It was Caperal's second F1 infraction after the officials declared an F1 following after it was reviewed that his elbow hit against Meralco's Chris Newsome in Game 2.

F1 violation equals to P5,000 fine, and Caperal's fine was raised to P10,000 for accumulating two flagrant ones.
