Makati City Mayor Abigail Binay recently recognized Ten Outstanding Students of the city for their academic achievements.
"I am extending my heartfelt congratulations to this year’s Ten Outstanding Students of
Makati (TOSM). This is a very momentous occasion, not just for our awardees but also for the city of Makati. Through your achievements, you have made us proud and inspired all of us to do better," Binay said as she congratulated the awardees on Friday, June 10 during the awarding ceremony at Makati City Hall.
Binay added, "You have shown excellence in academics, leadership, and service, and you deserve this recognition. I am confident that you will continue to excel in all your pursuits and contribute to the betterment of our city."
The top 1 received cash prize worth P20,000, plaque of recognition, and bouquet of flowers while ranked top 2- 10 got P15,000 each, plaque of recognition, and bouquet of flowers.
Matthew Ivan Galvez of Makati Science High School, has been named as the city's new youth ambassador.
This year's awardees are:

8. Gerald Jerome Leviste - San Antonio National High School
9. Raven Jillian Catuday - Makati Science High School
10. Camille Danielle Lacanlalay - St. Paul College of Makati
During the event, Binay also revealed her desire to have foreign exchange students next year.
