13 PNP senior officers revamped

At least 13 senior officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) were reshuffled following the retirement of some of its ranking officials in the past days. 
 
Leading those who were given new assignments were Police Brig. Gens. Emmanuel B Peralta who was named Acting Director for Information and Communication Technology Management (DICTM); Jon A Arnaldo, as Acting Director of National Police Training Institute (NPTI); Lawrence B Coop, as Chief of Supervisory Office for Security and Investigative Agencies (SOSIA); and Samuel C Nacion, as Director of the Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG).
 
"The retirement this month of senior officers triggered an upward movement in the echelon and opened opportunities for career advancement of other senior officers," said Danao.
 
"This reassignment as recommended by the Senior Officers’ Placement and Promotion Board is based on the officers' performance and how they can better contribute to the current operational thrusts of the PNP," he added.
 
Other senior officers designated to new posts were Police Brig. Gens. Robert T. Rodriguez as Acting Director for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM); Constancio T. Chinayog Jr. as Deputy Director for Personnel and Records Management; Sidney N. Villaflor as Deputy Director for Logistics; Jonnel C. Estomo as Acting Deputy Commander, Area Police Command- Southern Luzon; Oliver A. Enmodias as Acting Deputy Commander, Area Police Command- Eastern Mindanao; and, Bowenn Joey M. Masauding as Director of the Anti-Cybercrime Group.
 
Police Col. Wilson C. Asueta was named officer-in-charge of the Office of the Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief PNP; Police Col. Christopher C. Birung as Acting Chief of Staff, PNPA; and, Police Col. Joseph R. Arguelles, assigned to the DPRM.
 
The revamp took effect on May 18.
