The Shear Line or wind convergence, the humid Easterly winds, and the Northeast Monsoon's cool breeze are prevailing today.

The Shear line affecting Extreme Northern Luzon. Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Cagayan Valley.

Ilocos Region and Cordillera Administrative Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amihan.

Meanwhile, the Easterlies are expected to bring hot and humid weather over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Localized thunderstorms are in the forecast later in the day.
