Former PBB Big winner Slater Young and vlogger Kryz Uy's one-year-old son Scott Knoa has tested positive for novel coronavirus.

Kryz shared the unfortunate news on her vlog posted on Wednesday.

"Scottie woke up from his mid-day nap and surprised us all with a burning hot temperature. He was fine and active all morning and suddenly had dropped spirits, no appetite, and no energy. Of course, I was worried," she said.

Uy said they immediately did all the tests such as CBC, Dengue Antigen test, swab test, but all came back negative.

"His pediatrician and Slater's cousin, Dr. Michelle Yu, advised us to get a Biofire Swab test, which would not only test for Covid but for other viral infections as well. So off we went to the hospital for a drive-through swab." 

Sadly, the results revealed that Scottie contracted the virus.

"The results were... unfortunate. (sad) Scottie has covid! He was the only one among all of us who tested positive. I'm guessing because he's the only one among us that's unvaccinated," Uy said.

The vlogger mom shared that it was painful for her and her husband to see their son suffering from the symptoms.

She then asked her followers to include Scottie boo in their prayers.

"It was soooo painful to watch him be so tired and weak. (sad) Hope you guys can pray for my little guy.
