Riot Games is turning up the volume for this year’s VALORANT Game Changers Championship, and they’re doing it with style, swagger, and a global pop twist. The gaming giant has officially dropped “GO OFF,” a high-energy music video headlined by a reimagined version of KATSEYE’s hit track M.I.A, now transformed into “M.I.A (VALORANT Game Changers Version).” The anthem and cinematic video are now streaming across all major platforms, marking a bold new moment for the women-centered esports program.
More than just a soundtrack, “GO OFF” captures the grit, determination, and electric camaraderie that pulse through the Game Changers community. Instead of focusing solely on the competition, the music video takes a more intimate route, spotlighting the real stories and emotional journeys of women who’ve found purpose, power, and belonging in VALORANT. It’s a celebration of friendships forged in queues, confidence awakened through gameplay, and the collective rise of players pushing boundaries together.
For KATSEYE, the collaboration was more than a creative gig, it was personal. “When Riot asked us to reimagine M.I.A for Game Changers, as a gamer I was like YES!” Megan of KATSEYE shares. She notes that the song’s core message of confidence aligns seamlessly with the spirit of the program. “We wanted this version to celebrate every player who’s out there pushing limits and owning their power.”
That synergy was exactly what Riot hoped to amplify. Jonny Altepeter, Riot Games’ Lead Music Supervisor, highlights how naturally the partnership came together. “Working with KATSEYE to give M.I.A a Game Changers twist has been an incredible experience,” he says. “Their energy and artistry perfectly match the spirit of VALORANT, and Megan’s connection as a player made the collaboration feel that much more authentic.”
The timing couldn’t be better. The VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 is gearing up for its finals weekend on November 28–30 at Riot’s very own LoL Park in Seoul. Since launching in 2021, Game Changers has built a global stage for women in VALORANT esports, with past championships hosted in Berlin and São Paulo and memorable anthems like “All Eyes On Me,” “VALORANT, LOUDER,” and “THE DRIVE.”
With “GO OFF,” Riot signals not just another tournament — but a movement powered by passion, representation, and the players rewriting the rules of the game.
