A King Aircraft stalled on Tuesday, January 17, at a runway of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) reported.
The said plane stalled on Runway 13/31 at 10:05 a.m.
Authorities from the MIAA Rescue and Firefighting Division responded to assist the aircraft together with the Airport Grounds Operation and Safety Division, Medical Team and Airport Security, and Investigators of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
It further reported that “the seven passengers and two crew members were unharmed, and immediately assisted by the MIAA Rescue Team.”
The aircraft was fully extracted from the runway at 10:43 a.m.
“Clearing operations was done by the MIAA Airport Ground Operations Safety Division (AGOSD) to check for possible Foreign Object Debris (FOD) before giving clearance to re-open Runway 13/31.”
The runway reopened at 10:48 a.m.
“No flights were affected during the emergency situation.”
