Letran's Paolo Javillionar was given lighter penalties for his butt-pinching incident in Game One of the NCAA Season 98 Finals.
The NCAA Management Committee (Mancom) released a statement on Friday.
NCAA Mancom said that Javillionar "committed an unsportsmanlike behavior" when he touched the private part of College of Saint Benilde big man Will Gozum.
"Javillonar was strongly reprimanded for his unsportsmanlike conduct and warned that a repetition or a commission of a similar offense will merit a stricter penalty," the statement read.
Still, Javillionar is "required to issue an apology and render community service as a rehabilitative measure."
However, his teammate Kyle Tolentino was meted a one-game suspension.
Based on a thorough review, it was concluded that Tolentino “occupied the landing spot” of Miguel Oczon.
The incident happened just two minutes into the opening frame that saw Oczon severely sprain his right ankle.
