The Philippine delegation won nine medals in the inaugural South East Asian (SEA) Deaf Games held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on November 23–27, 2022.

The Filipino deaf athletes won four silvers and five bronzes in the tournament by some of the top deaf athletes in South East Asia.

Most of the medals from the Philippines came from bowling and badminton.

The Phil-Sports Federation of the Deaf is happy with their achievement despite their failure to win a coveted gold medal in the event.

The team hopes to finally down the gold in the  Indonesia 2024 SEA Deaf Games.
