A lone bettor in Rizal province became an instant millionaire after guessing the right six-digit combination of the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw on Friday night.

In an advisory Saturday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)  said the bettors guessed the winning combination 16-13-02-19-11-07 with total prize money of P21,436,089.60.

The ticket was bought in Taytay, Rizal.

The bettor can claim the check at PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City by presenting the winning ticket and two identification cards.

As provided in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax.

Fifty-five others won P32,000 each for guessing five out of the six winning digits, while 2,678 will get P1,000 each for four correct digits and 34,828 will settle for P30 each for three correct digits.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The 6/45 Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The PCSO is urging the public to patronize its games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.

Through its mandatory contributions, the agency said it does not only help individuals in need of medical assistance but also provides funds to government institutions.
