South Korean actor-singer Lee Ji Han, known for being a contestant in the reality show Produce 101's second season, was confirmed to be among the victims of the tragic Halloween stampede incident in Itaewon.

The Halloween stampede occurred on October 29, killed 153 people, and injured 133, based on the latest report of Yonhap News Agency.

In a statement from the 24-year-old singer's agency, 935 Entertainment, they announced that Ji Han passed away due to the accident in Itaewon.

“It’s true that Lee Ji Han passed away due to the accident in Itaewon on October 29,” a representative of the agency said, as quoted by Soompi.

“We also hoped that it wasn’t true, and we were very shocked to hear the news. The family is suffering immense grief right now, so we are being very cautious. May he rest in peace,” the representative added.
