Worry no more, KathNiel fans, because Kathryn and Daniel are still together and are supporting each other’s projects.
 
On and off-screen partners Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were both present at the opening of Kathryn and Piolo Pascual’s new venture, "Isla Amara." The two even posed for photos together, shutting down rumors that they have called it quits.
 
This week, rumors of Kathryn and Daniel's breakup erupted when netizens thought that the couple appeared "awkward" while circulating clips from their series' conclusion press conference on Monday.
 
Fans were particularly concerned by Daniel's answer to their opinions about "loyalty" during the aforementioned media conference.
 
"Yung aso ko, si Summer. Yun pinaka-loyal (My dog, Summer. Is the most loyal)," Padilla said.
 
"Kahit ano mang pinagdadaanan ko ngayon, kung ano mang sitwasyon o emosyon ko ngayon, kung sino ako ngayon, tatanggapin ako nang buong-buo nun. ‘Yun ang loyalty. Walang judgement kung sino ka," he continued.
 
(No matter what I'm going through right now, no matter what situation or emotion I'm in right now, who I am right now, I will accept that. That's loyalty. There should be no judgement on who you are)
 
Kathryn, on the other hand, responded that for her, loyalty is about being satisfied: "Loyalty for me is being contented. Because if you’re contented, you won’t look for [another] person, right?"
 
On Thursday, an Instagram user asked Daniel's mother, Karla Estrada, whether the rumors regarding Kathryn and Daniel are true.
 
"WALANG KATOTOHANAN!!! (That’s not true)," the actress replied.
 
Filipino blockbuster artists Piolo and Kathryn led the ribbon cutting of their newly opened business with other partners. Their new boutique resort, 'Isla Amara,' opened at Lio Beach in El Nido, Palawan.
