Four drug peddlers were caught with a total of P367,200 shabu in separate drug stings in Las Piñas and Makati cities on Monday, October 24.

George Santos Fidelino, 59; Bernardino Santiago Garcia, 60; Yuka Guadalupe Nunoura, 31; and Fer Osman Labanza Rodriguez, 42 are currently under police custody.

The anti-drug units of the city police of Las Piñas and Makati launched buy-bust operations against the suspects named for selling illegal drugs.

Fidelino and Garcia sold shabu to undercover cops along Guadalupe Street in Fatima Subdivision, Barangay Zapote, Las Piñas City, at 8:30 pm, reported the city police.

After the transaction, police recovered 32 grams of shabu, packed in two small and two medium-sized sachets, worth P217,600.

Meanwhile, a drug deal was made between undercover cops and Nunoura and Rodriguez, who sold P500 shabu, along Cuangco Street in Barangay Pio Del Pilar, Makati City, at 5 pm.

Police seized from them five small sachets of shabu weighing 22 grams and with a street weight of P149,600.

The four suspects would be charged with violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Southern Police District (SPD) director Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft vowed police are committed to end the “drug menace.”
