Motorists will enjoy a week of lower fuel prices starting Tuesday, October 25, following oil companies’ announcing fuel price rollbacks.

In separate advisories, oil companies Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Pilipinas Shell announced that they would be slashing diesel prices by P1.10 per liter.

Meanwhile, gasoline prices will be reduced by P0.35 per liter.

Pilipinas Shell and Seaoil, on the other hand, confirmed reducing kerosene prices by P0.45 per liter.

Other oil companies are expected to follow suit.

This follows two consecutive weeks of increases in the price of petroleum products.

Following the announcement by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) that they will reduce oil output by two million barrels per day, the largest reduction since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, local oil prices have risen by P2 per liter for gasoline, P9.55 per liter for diesel, and P6.40 per liter for kerosene.
