With her foreign import a prime target for the enemy, Jema Galanza led Creamline’s local cast to tow her club past a fancied enemy.

The Cool Smashers pocketed a  25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 25-12, victory keeping their share of the lead in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at ta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna.

“They are not easy to play against and they gave us a good game,” Galanza said of the HD Spikers.

She finished with 17 points built on 14 attacks, two blocks, and an ace on top of 17 digs.

“I’m happy that we got this win. Everyone from our team contributed,” she added as Creamline stayed perfect in three games alongside Chery Tiggo.

On tap for the Cool Smashers is 1-3 Akari in a clash set at Philsports Arena this Thursday.

Import Tai Bierria led the way for the Cignal with 20 points off 14 attacks, four blocks, and two aces to go with nine digs and eight receptions.

The HD Spikers dropped to 1-2 overall and will try to end their slump against 2-1 Choco Mucho on Saturday next week.
