Calvin Oftana is not just a professional basketball player, but also a college graduate.

The NLEX young star just graduated from San Beda University with a degree of Business Administration Major in Marketing Management.

Oftana took to Instagram to announce his recent milestone in his life.

For the guidance and protection, I say thank you, My G! You have done it, over and over again. Appreciate you for all the things You’ve done to me,” he wrote.

“To the anchor during rough waters, my family and [my girlfriend] Ena [Novera], thank you for the support, said Oftana.

“To my coaches, teammates, and professors, thank you for helping me become the person I am today. Appreciate you all."

Oftana started his career in NCAA as part of the Red Lions squad, winning three championships and Season 95 MVP in 2019.

He was then drafted third overall by the NLEX Road Warriors in the 2021 PBA Draft.

The 25-year old put up a decent showing on his rookie year, averaging 9.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.

Oftana's most notable performance is when he scored 34 points on seven 3-pointers vs Meralco, shattering Allan Caidic’s rookie record of most made triples in a game.
