The CAVITEX Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) announced that they would be collecting an increase in provincial toll rates for motorists plying the sections of the CAVITEX C5 link, taking effect at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, November 27.
The CAVITEX C5 Link will be subject to the following provisional toll rate, with prices starting at P35.00 for Class 1 motorists, P69.00 for Class 2 motorists, and P104.00 for Class 3 motorists.
In addition, Segment 3.2, or the CAVITEX C5 Link flyover, covers Merville to E, while Segment 1 covers the section from Taguig to Merville. Rodriguez.
The operational segment of the expressway was extended by 1.6 kilometers with the opening of Segment 3.2 to traffic on August 14, providing better access and shorter travel times for motorists.
The entire CAVITEX C5 Link will be 7.7 km long and will connect to CAVITEX in 2023.
The project aims to aid in the decongestion of busy roads like EDSA and MIA Road. It is also intended to reduce the amount of time it takes for drivers to get from CAVITEX to Makati, Taguig, and Pasay—and vice versa—by 30 to 45 minutes.
