The suave, smooth-talking ladies’ cat finds himself on a quest to reclaim his nine lives in a trailer for "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish," set to hit Philippine cinemas on December 7. 
 
Just in time for the holiday season, the charming and heroic cat, Puss (in boots), gained new friends, brand-new facial hair, and a new epic journey to embark on: to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.
 
First introduced through the Shrek franchise, the upcoming animated film will be a sequel to 2011’s Puss in Boots movie. Although he’s older, his passion for adventure hasn’t dwindled. But having exhausted all eight lives, the Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado-directed film will follow Puss on his grandest journey yet. 
 
But, with only one life left and no other options, Puss must humble himself and seek assistance from his former partner and archnemesis, the alluring Kitty Soft Paws.
 
"Puss in Boots: The Last Wish," a DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures production, will be released in local theaters on December 7.
