At the 2022 ASBC Asian Elite Men & Women Boxing Championships on Wednesday, Nov. 9, in Amman, Jordan, Filipino Olympic silver medalists Nesthy Petecio and Hergie Bacyadan each conceded to different opponents to take home bronze medals.

In the women's 57 kg featherweight division, Karina Ibragimova defeated Petecio, 5-0, after receiving identical 30-26 scores from judges in Italy, Thailand, Algeria, Tajikistan, and Tunisia.

The silver medalist from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics received a bye in the first round and beat Thailand's Nilawan Techausuep in the quarterfinals before falling to Ibragimova.

In contrast, Ruzmetova Sokhiba of Uzbekistan defeated Bacaydan by a score of 3-2 in the women's 75 kg middleweight division. 

She received a 29–28 rating from judges from China, Taiwan, and India and a 28–29 rating from Italy, Tunisia, and Morocco.
