The hit reality TV show for drag queens will be back in the country as "Drag Race Philippines" has been renewed for another season, American company World of Wonder (WOW) announced.

In an announcement on Wednesday (October 19), the American production company behind the hit global franchise also confirmed that "Untucked," a companion series of Drag Race Philippines, will also be returning for the next season.

"Finally, Drag Race Philippines and Drag Race Philippines: Untucked have both been officially renewed for second seasons," WOW said.

Drag Race Philippines is the local version of the Emmy Award-winning reality show "RuPaul's Drag Race."

Meanwhile, its companion series, Untucked provides insight into what goes on behind the competition scenes.

The first season of Drag Race Philippines concluded last week, with Precious Paula Nicole crowned as the Philippines' first-ever "Drag Superstar," where she bested 11 other drag queens.

It premiered in August and ran for 10 episodes.

Paolo Ballesteros, aka Mamwa Pao, hosted the show in its debut season. While Rajo Laurel and Jon Santos serve as recurrent guest judges, the primary judges are Kaladkaren and Jiggly Caliente.

All Drag Race Philippines episodes and the Untucked segment are available to watch on WOWPresents Plus, Discovery Plus, and HBO GO.
