Pictures of the reality star with a noticeable bandage on the cheek had made rounds on social media over the past few weeks, which left fans speculating she had something major done on her face.

True enough,  Khloé Kardashian had a tumor removed from her face, and this was nearly 20 years after finding a cancerous mole on her back.

The Kardashian star took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to address the rumors saying that she has seen “numerous stories going around about the ever-evolving bandage” on her face over the past weeks.

She set the record straight by revealing that she had a “small bump” on her cheek biopsied after it refused to budge for seven months. Two doctors examined the growth, and she was advised to have an “immediate operation” to remove the tumor.

“I’m grateful to share that Dr. Fischer was able to get everything,” Kardashian said, also saying that her “margins appear clear.”

She continued to write, “Now we are onto the healing process..You’ll continue to see my bandages and when I’m allowed, you’ll probably see a scar (and an indentation in my cheek from the tumor being removed) but until then I hope you enjoy how fabulous I’m making these face bandages look,” she added.

Kardashian also encouraged her fans and followers to “get checked … frequently,” going on to describe her previous experiences with skin cancer.

“At 19 years old, I had melanoma on my back, and I had a surgery to remove that, as well,” the reality star wrote. “I am pre-composed [sic] to melanomas. … I am someone who wears sunscreen every day religiously, so no one is exempt from these things.”

Kardashian concluded her post with a collage of pics of her fabulous face bandages on the cheek, including a sweet snap with her daughter True, 4.

In 2016, the Good American founder revealed during their reality show on E! that she had a mole on her chest biopsied.

“Thankfully, it was benign,” Kardashian shared at the time. “I haven’t had a problem in years but wanted to share my experience with you so that if you notice something doesn’t look right, you will take action and take care of your health.”
