TV and movie director Paul Soriano leads the inspection of the House of Representatives in time for the first State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

He was joined by officials of Malacanang and the House of Representatives on Friday as they made two walk-through events.

In the morning, the Presidential Security Group (PSG), led by Stag Delta Major Franz Bauso, and the House Legislative Security Bureau (LSB), led by Juanito Tan, chief of the Perimeter Security Group of the LSB, held a walk-through.

The security groups began their walk-through at the Plenary Hall and then checked the Galleries, North and South Wing Buildings, and the South Wing Annex, among others. Tan explained that the walk-through was necessary in familiarizing the PSG with House facilities and premises so that in case of an emergency, they would be able to respond quickly.

Meanwhile, the second walk-through was participated by the chief of Malacanang's Presidential Protocol Office, Undersecretary Adelio Cruz,
presidential adviser on Foreign Affairs, his staff, and House Representatives staff. They made the rounds, starting at the Plenary Hall and finishing at the Executive Lounge.

They met with Paul Soriano, who will be directing the President's SONA.
Soriano was accompanied by Radio Television Malacanang (RTVM) Head of Media and Production, Louie Eleazar.

They discussed the standard protocols to be observed once members of the presidential entourage, including members of the First Family, arrive at the House's rear entrance. Also discussed were reception, a holding area for Malacanang functionaries, and physical arrangements at the Executive Lounge, among others.
