Dr. Samuel Zacate conducted a face-to-face interview and examination of Marcos at his residence last July 11, 2022.

According to the press statement, President Marcos is experiencing only mild symptoms.

"He is still with no fever and body malaise. His cough disappeared but still with very mild nasal stuffiness and nasal itchiness, therefore additional medication were given to address His concern and all other medicines were advised to be continued."

The statement added that his vital signs were all within normal limits and exemplary and that he doesn't experience any additional signs and
symptoms.

"His throat still has no noticeable inflammation and no signs of respiratory compromise," the statement furthered.

His doctor, Dr. Samuel Zacate, said PBBM is on his "way to a complete recovery."

The president's fast recovery is expected from a fully vaccinated individual with good health status and a history of remarkable resilience, Zacate added.

Marcos is expected to virtually preside over the second Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, July 12.
