This week, the second Central Visayas Business Conference will take place as part of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines Inc. (ICCPIregional )'s business conference series.

The business conference, scheduled for Thursday, September 22, 2022, intends to highlight investment prospects, learn from local companies, and examine trends.

As a hub for multinational corporations and investors, it is intended to connect further businesses operating in Central Visayas that engage in creative industries, cutting-edge technology and innovation, sustainable business practices, real estate, railway infrastructure, aerospace, renewable energy, and health, among other sectors.

This is done in collaboration with organizations like the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the French Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, the German Chamber, the Nordic Chamber, Advantage Austria, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.

According to CCCI president Charles Kenneth Co, conferences like these show a strong partnership between institutions and the business chamber's ongoing dedication to promoting investment opportunities for Central Visayas and strengthening connections between Cebu and other parts of the world.

A number of well-known speakers and panelists from the government, local government entities, the local business community, and foreign investors and organizations will participate in the online event.

Discussions will primarily center on issues like potential waterfront developments in Cebu City, development plans for the three cities of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu, and Mandaue, European cooperation projects in Central Visayas, and infrastructure and economic development in the Philippines with a focus on Central Visayas.

The ICCPI promotes trade ties between the Philippines and Italy. It is a group that offers ongoing forums for its members to discover, investigate, and discuss issues concerning economic, industrial, and commercial enterprises.
