The provinces of Cebu and Bohol experienced heavy rainfall due to the Low-Pressure Area and the Southwest Monsoon resulting in flooding and landslide incidents in some areas in Region VII.
Several videos went viral online of cars submerged in a flood in Cebu.
An initial report on the combined effects of the Low-Pressure Area and Southwest Monsoon in Central Visayas (Region VII) was released to the media. According to the report, there were 17 barangays affected or 288 families or 1,253 individuals.
Five roads in Cebu were not passable after the heavy rains, including Natalio, Transcentral Highway, Sitio Langub, Buhisan, and Fortuna.
Meanwhile, some parts of Cebu City experienced power interruption/outage. The report added that a total of 20 houses were damaged.

Low-Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 320 km West of Dagupan City, Pangasinan (16.5°N, 117.4°E). Southwest monsoon/localized thunderstorms affecting Mindanao.
It added that Mindanao would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon/Localized Thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds from southwest to south with slight to moderate seas.
