American company World Wonder announced on May 15 that “Drag Race Philippines” will premiere on August 17.

World of Wonder’s official Twitter account posted the new trailer with the caption, “Mabu-hayyy. Gagged to finally announce #DragRace legend @JigglyCaliente4 will be joining the #DragRacePH judge panel! #DragRacePH + the first international Untucked premieres August 17 on @wowpresentsplus.”

The show’s new trailer confirmed rumors that “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 4 contestant Jiggly Caliente will be one of the judges. Jiggy is the show’s third alumna to judge the franchise, following Nicky Doll for the upcoming French series and Brooke Lynn Hytes for the Canada series.

The show’s fans noticed that the voice in the trailer is Paolo Ballesteros, who is thought to be the show’s main host. It was also disclosed that this franchise would be the first to have its own ‘Untucked’ segment.

The ‘Untucked’ segment of the American franchise is known for its raw and unfiltered drama between the drag contestants.

“Drag Race Philippines” held auditions for its first season in August 2021. After “Drag Race Thailand,” this will be the second franchise in Asia.
